I am so fortunate to be part of a great group of ladies that shares a love of Food photography and Food Styling. We have embarked on a monthly challenge to improve upon our Food photography skills while receiving valuable feed back from one another. I am so excited to dive in head first into this genre of photography.
Our first "Assignment" was a single type of fruit on a white background. Sounds simple right.....Wrong! It was very challenging. Placing your fruit so that it is bathed in the perfect light, and then there's composition......this is something I am really not very good at I'm afraid, another reason I am so psyched to be a part of this group.
Here is my selection for the week. :) Ok I couldn't choose just one.....
Now lets see what my friend Kat Clark was up to, you can find her Blog Entry HERE
I think you did a great job with these. I tried kiwi too and they are tricky! Love how you captured the seeds and the texture of the fuzzy skin.
ReplyDeleteGirl! I tried kiwi, too, and it was so much harder than I expected!!! I really like how you styled these. Love your clarity. And your GREEN kiwi! (the ones in my market were... lackluster on a good day!)
ReplyDeleteTammy these are so clear and perfect. I really want to scoop them right off the page and eat them,
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us in this venture!

Nicely done Tammy! Beautifully green and crisp. I love the first one best :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how beautiful something as simple as a piece of fruit can be? Your kiwi's are simply stunning!!
ReplyDeleteGreat close-up and it's so perfectly sliced! How did you do that?? :)
ReplyDeleteLove those colors! I also love that you used slices of kiwi stacked together. Was this a macros lens? Love how sharp the hairs on the rind are!
ReplyDeleteLove how close up you got here! Perfect colors!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous capture of your kiwi slices! Can see every detail - cool!
ReplyDeleteReally love the detail on the edge of the kiwi. Great job.
